Much of the work of the neighborhood association is done at the committee level. The following are the ViNA standing committees and their responsibilities. If you are interested in participating on a committee contact either the committee chair or ViNA:
Business Development Committee

- Oversee programs of the business committee such as the Facade Improvement Grant Program
- Work with all of the businesses in the neighborhood
- Work on conditions to make business a part of the community
- Work to attract new businesses to the neighborhoos
- Implement appropriate Phase 2 strategies
Environment Committee

- Any Items with an environmental impact
- Working on the Ryan Lake Shoreline Restoration and TrailProject
- Oversight of the Storm Water Retention pond
- Parks and Victory Memorial Drive
- Implement appropriate Phase 2 strategies
Events Committee

- Plan all ViNA events for the community
- Organize Volunteers for the events
- Bring forward monetary requests for Board to approve

Housing Committee

- Review all request for exceptions to the Loan Program
- Make recommendations to the Board about Housing Program changes
