The Victory Neighborhood is located in the northwest corner of Minneapolis (NOMI) and derives its name from the historic Victory Memorial Parkway and monuments within the neighborhood.
The neighborhood area's boundaries are:
West: Memorial Parkway/ Ryan Lake
North: Victory Prairie and Dog Park (areas south of Canadian Pacific Railroad)
East: Crystal Lake Cemetery/ Newton Avenue North
South: Dowling Avenue North
The Victory Neighborhood Association (ViNA) is the neighborhood organization for the Victory Neighborhood. Incorporated in 1992 as a 501c3 nonprofit, ViNA's mission is to protect and promote neighborhood interests and the health, safety and general welfare of the residents in a non-partisan, educational and cooperative manner. All activities, events, committees and operations are conducted primarily by volunteers.
General membership meetings are open to the public and held on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church (4301 Thomas Avenue N). Any person of voting age who resides, owns property, or operates a business in the Victory neighborhood is eligible for membership in ViNA. To join, print and complete the membership form and mail to the address listed below, or call or stop by the office during the following times:
